There is one common factor that effects and aggravates (and sometimes even causes) hemorrhoids more than most hemorrhoid sufferers realize. What’s worse is that it goes completely under the radar.
Remember that hemorrhoids or piles are basically an inflamed rectal vein wall that has been ruptured from some force and some factors have come to aggravate it so it does not heal properly. Over time, it simply gets bigger, more painful, or even itches.
Our biggest contributor to it can be something as simple as STRESS!
Stress raises our blood pressure average during the day. This can cause the walls of the veins to build more pressure and especially if we are sitting down for office work, for example. There happens to be a lot of pressure that circulates in that area.
Even worse, stress can lead to some real dehydration. This in itself will make your bowel movements dry and cause pressure down there. Also, it thickens blood and creates a perpetuated cycle of force for your hemorrhoids. The end result is simply not good.
I have a few recommendations for people anywhere regarding decreasing stress for this purpose.
The first is to simply meditate for 5 minutes a day through sheer thinking of nothingness. Try it in the morning and you will love the feeling. Concentrate on the expansiveness of the universe. Notice how small your problems are compared to it. This will relax you despite the outside world.
The second aspect is to take a break from work every few days, try something new, or go on a new short vacation if possible. This alleviates a lot of tension within the body and mind. Now, there are completely scientific facts behind why doing a new activity can help your stress levels go down very fast, so try it now. For example, take an afternoon rock climbing or learning a new language. Switching up the mind focus can do wonders.
